Jakarta, November 29th, 2020. Approaching the end of 2020, PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) is once again getting recognition from the public for the quality of its products. Through the Marketeers Youth Choice Brand of the Year 2020 event, XL Axiata won the award for the category of Telecommunication Operators and Digital Operators with the brand Live.On. This award was successfully obtained because XL Axiata and Live.On were considered as one of the telecommunications companies that could represent young people and were worthy of being recommended for use among young people. The award was presented online on Thursday (26/11).

For Live.on, this award is significant because they can be won in a short time, which is less than two months after it was officially launched on October 5th, 2020.

This award is based on an online survey conducted by Marketeers from early October 2020 to mid-November 2020. This survey involved 1,300 Gen Z respondents spread across Indonesia with an age range of 18-25 years. The majority of respondents are active students from various universities in Indonesia.
Marketeers Youth Choice Brands of The Year 2020 chose 80 brands from 26 categories across industries. According to the organizers, even though it currently is a time full of challenges for the business world, business actors must still be close to consumers and make this pandemic a momentum for creativity and innovation.

Besides, Dian Siswarini, President Director & CEO of XL Axiata also won the Best Industry Marketing Champion 2020 for Telecom Services sector award which was organized by MarkPlus, Inc., in collaboration with Marketeers and the Indonesia Marketing Association (IMA). This award is given for the spirit of marketing that is exemplary and can significantly impact both the business performance of their company and the wider community.
